Sunset Dinner Cruise

If you want to share a meal with that special someone in your life or just with friends and family and want to make  some everlasting memories , a sunset dinner cruise at Cape May should definitely be on your vacation schedule.

Several different companies offer this experience and we can only assume they are all different. The cruise we took was a night well spent.   We were fortunate to have a booking on  a beautiful evening . The view of the sunset and the lighthouse were spectacular.  As we sailed totally around the Cape, the staff shared information about Cape May’s rich history as well as places to see.

The following words of advice sum it up….Don’t forget your camera or cell phone.

Sail the AJ Meerwald

If you want to experience travel by other than engine power, we strongly suggest sailing on the AJ Meerwald, New Jersey’s official tall ship. For the past several years,  this ship had a temporary home for about one month during the summer in North Cape May and sailed several times daily in the Delaware Bay.  This ship has a working crew that recruits passengers to help them sail this beautiful vessel. We were fortunate enough to be able to sail on it in 2018 and it was a fantastic time.

Parasailing

Want to get an adrenaline rush and  see Cape May’s beautiful beaches and shoreline from a whole new perspective at the same time?  Several companies in Cape May offer parasailing excursions which will help you make memories that will last for years to come.

Kayaking and Paddleboarding

The Marina is walking distance from Cape May Hide Away.  Kayaks and Paddleboards are available to rent. It’s a great way to burn off some calories and enjoy some time on the water

Jet Skiing

Want to feel some speed but want to be in control of it yourself? Renting a jet ski could be the answer. Several companies renting jet skis  are  only a short distance away from Cape May HideAway.  If this is on your bucket list, doing it while you are in Cape May on vacation will be a perfect time.
